The process was incredibly straightforward via WhatsApp, and the team arrived at the hotel very quickly. The doctor examined me thoroughly, took his time, and explained everything clearly. Further tests were recommended and carried out immediately.
At the same time, I received an IV and medication, which was monitored by a nurse throughout the entire process. This alone helped me feel better relatively quickly.
After about an hour, the test results were in, and I received all the necessary medications, including detailed instructions for use.
Overall, I felt very well cared for and was truly pleased with how quickly and professionally everything was handled.
Their service is excellent, but what I appreciated the most was their communication via WhatsApp. It’s so reassuring to know that they truly care about you even after the treatment. They check in on you to see how you’re doing, and if you have any questions or start feeling worse, you can easily reach out to them.

I had severe food poisoning and contacted the clinic, and the doctors arrived within 10 minutes. I was so impressed by how fast and professional they were. They immediately started an IV with medication and hydration, which helped me feel better very quickly. They also offered additional IV support to strengthen my recovery.
What truly stood out was how thorough they were. Instead of giving me random antibiotics, they took blood tests to identify exactly which bacteria was causing the infection. The results showed it was salmonella, and Dr. Adhi prescribed a specific antibiotic to treat it properly. They even gave me probiotics alongside the antibiotics to protect my gut — something you don’t always see.
Dr. Adhi was amazing. He really cared and even ran back and forth to the clinic to check my test results and make sure everything was handled correctly. After the treatment, they followed up several times to check how I was feeling and whether I needed anything else.
I was honestly surprised — even in Holland, you don’t always receive this level of attentive and personalised care.
I hope you stay healthy and don’t need medical help, but if you do, you’re in very good hands at The Lotus Medical.

Unfortunately I didn’t get the nurse’s name, but she was incredibly caring, kind, and attentive. She got us seen straight away and administered my first two rabies vaccinations with such care and reassurance, which made a stressful situation feel much easier.
We were then seen by Dr Adhi, who was fantastic. He explained everything clearly and calmly, and both his and the nurse’s English was excellent, which made the whole experience so smooth and reassuring.
Dr Adhi explained that because the scratch drew blood it was categorised as a WHO Category 3 exposure, meaning I needed immunoglobulin. Although they didn’t have any in stock (and neither did a couple of hospitals he contacted), he went above and beyond by getting in touch with a colleague from another clinic he works at in Canggu and arranged for them to come directly to my hotel to administer it.
The team were also incredibly helpful with our travel insurance, and the clinic itself was spotless, calm, and very welcoming. When you’re abroad and something like this happens, it can be really scary, but this place was truly top-notch. They even texted me the next day to check in and see how I was doing.
